Gohareh Limestone is an Iranian cream limestone from the Gohareh limestone quarry in Khorramabad, Lorestan province, one of Iran oldest limestone and marble groups. It is offered through Mahed direct quarry supply for cost-conscious architectural surfaces, interior cladding, calm walls, low-traffic floors and projects needing a warm cream limestone. Cream and beige, generally light in tone, with calm sedimentary texture; some lots can appear darker, so tone approval is important.
Limestone is softer and generally more absorbent than dense marble, so it should be specified with realistic use conditions, sealing requirements, thickness and batch test results. It suits calm architectural surfaces where the designer wants a warm matte stone look.
